Police were called to H. Samuel jewellers on Regent Street just after 4pm today on reports that shoplifters had targeted the store.

Two police cars were seen responding, with a police officer later speaking to staff. Another police car was circling around the town centre shortly after.

It appears stolen items were recovered by members of the public in the street and returned to the store.

Anyone with further information is asked to call North Wales Police on 101.
