Free women’s swimming and gym sessions launch this month!

Are you looking to get active, take up a new hobby and dust away the winter cobwebs? Then make sure you keep an hour or two free on Monday evenings from the end of the month!

As part of the Get Out Get Active (GOGA) programme, ladies in Wrexham are being offered the chance to take part in fun and free sporting sessions in local leisure and activity centres from Monday 22nd January.

Taking place across a 10 week period, the programme is funded by the Spirit of 2012 which is the London 2012 legacy charity. Established by The Big Lottery Fund to fund community projects across the UK that bring people together.

Over the 10 weeks at Queensway Stadium ladies can take part in gym sessions between 6:30pm and 8:30pm. This includes a free induction.

There’s also the chance to take part in the 0-5k Walk to Run sessions between 7:30pm and 8″30pm.

You’ll need to book in advance to confirm your place on 01978 355826.

Gwyn Evans in Gwersyllt is also offering gym sessions between 7:00pm and 8:00pm and ladies only swimming between 8:00pm and 9:00pm.

At Waterworld there’s gym sessions between 6:30pm and 8:30pm and ladies only swimming between 8:00pm and 9:30pm.

Chirk leisure and activity centre is offering an Aquafit programme between 7:15pm and 8:00pm and Clubbercise between 7:30pm and 8:15pm.
