Free swimming for children this half term!

Looking for something to do over half term? Wrexham Council and Freedom Leisure are offering free swimming next week for all Leisure Card holders.

The lessons for 16s and under will be available various times at Waterworld, Gwyn Evans and Chirk between Saturday 28th October and Sunday 5th November.

Free swimming will be available on the following:

Waterworld: Monday – Friday 2pm to 3pm and Saturday’s 3:30pm – 4:30pm

Gwyn Evans: Thursday’s 2pm to 3pm and Sunday’s 10am to 11am

Chirk: Monday’s 3:30pm -4:30pm and Sunday’s 2pm to 3pm

Cllr Paul Rogers, Lead Member for Youth Services and Anti-Poverty, with responsibility for leisure services in Wrexham, said: “We recently invested more than £2.7million into all of our Leisure and Activity Centres, and we’d encourage parents to take advantage of the free swimming for children under 16 during the half term.

“It’s an excellent chance to get your children active and keep them fit, while also keeping them busy during the half term.”

The free swimming detailed above is free for under 16s with a valid Leisure Card.
