Every primary school pupil in Wrexham will be able to have a free school meal on Thursday 7 November to celebrate National School Meals Week.

All parents and carers have been sent an invitation to take part and all they have to do is return the pro-forma at the bottom to the school as soon as possible.

Lead Member for Children’s Services and Education, Cllr Michael Williams, said: “School meals are great and very healthy and I hope parents and carers take up this offer and let their child have a school meal for free on the 7 November.”

On offer on the day will be Welsh Beef Pasta Bolognaise or Vegetarian Pasta Bolognaise accompanied by Garlic Bread followed by Raspberry and Vanilla Cookie with Milk.

The Free School Meal offer is possible due to the cooperation and generosity of suppliers to the School Meals Catering Service and the Appetite 4 Life scheme.
