Fire Crews Tackle Blaze at House in Wrexham

A home in Wrexham has been left with smoke damage following a fire at the property earlier this afternoon.

Shortly after midday North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to a house fire on Windsor Road, New Broughton.

The cause of fire was accidental and caused as a result of an electrical fault.

Two crews from Wrexham attended the scene and four officers used breathing apparatus and a ventilator to extinguish the fire.

The fire was contained to the bathroom, which has been damaged. The rest of the property has also been left with 100% smoke damage.

No one was injured as a result of the fire.
