Fire crews still on site after Village Bakery fire

Fire crews are still on the scene of a major fire on the industrial estate, almost 13 hours after getting the call to attend.

The fire service have published new images of the damage to the buildings:

Firefighters were called at 8.41am today to the Village Bakery factory on Coed Aben Road on the Industrial Estate. Initially appliances from Wrexham, one from Deeside, Buckley, Llangollen, Chester, Oswestry, two ariel ladder platforms and an incident command unit from Rhyl attended.

Late this afternoon Six appliances, two aerial ladder platforms, the environmental protection unit and the incident command unit were still in attendance at the incident.
