Fire crews attend town centre ‘building fire’ in Wrexham town centre

Firefighters have attended a building fire in Wrexham town centre.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that two crews from Wrexham, on Aerial Ladder Platform from Rhyl and a crew from Chester attended the incident which appeared to be at the rear of Everland on Market Street.

The road was fully closed while the fire service dealt with the incident, which was reported at 10:14am.

Two crews are attending a town centre property fire this morning.

The fire appears to be to the rear of the Everland chip shop property.

North Wales Fire and Rescue told us they were called at 10:14am, “We’re currently in attendance at a building fire on Market Street, Wrexham”

They have requested people ‘avoid the area’.
