What Council services are important to you? That’s the question being asked in a recent consultation being carried out by the authority.

Over 800 people have so far taken part in the ‘What is important to you? – Council Plan Consultation’, which has been ongoing since the 14th January.

Now there are just three days left for the public to have their say on the Council’s new plan.

One of the more controversial / most talked about aspects of the consultation has been regarding empty shops in the town centre, which has regularly caused quite a stir on the Wrexham Council Facebook Page.

Other topics include homelessness, tourism, vulnerable people (and much more), with participants asked to rank how they important they think something is and how well they feel the Council is doing at providing these services / tackling certain issues.

There is also the chance to elaborate on your thoughts, with comment sections encouraging people to provide further feedback on the various topics.

Last month Wrexham Council said that all feedback is welcome, be it positive or negative.

You can voice your opinions by picking up a paper copy of the consultation at Wrexham Library, the Contact Centre (Lord Street) and the Guildhall Reception.

Similarly for those who hate the idea of a web based survey you can email the Council direct on [email protected] or post a letter to ‘Tell us what you think’, 3rd Floor Annex, The Guildhall, Wrexham, LL11 1AY.
