Emergency services remain at the scene of an incident near Wrexham City Centre, on the corner of Windsor Drive and Mold Road

North Wales Police and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to the Mold Road area following reports of a fire.

In a statement, a spokesperson for North Wales Police said: Due to an incident, Mold road in Wrexham is closed between the junction of Maesgwyn Road and the junction of Berse road roundabout as you’re heading out of Wrexham Town.

“The road is still open in the other direction heading into town although congested – please avoid the area.
