“Earthquake felt in Wrexham” after seismic event in Shropshire
The British Geological Survey say they have “received numerous reports” that a ‘seismic event’ has been felt by residents in Shropshire and surrounding counties – including Wrexham.
The 3.8 magnitude earthquake is currently noted as recorded in Wem, Shropshire, at around 3:36PM however normally timings do get adjusted.
Locally residents felt the earth move, such as in Penley:
Did anyone else just feel a mini earthquake in Penley? Or do I need to go back to bed?! @wrexham #Earthquake
