Shoppers at Eagles Meadow Wrexham enjoyed a spooktacular Halloween with Trick or Treat Street.

Six ghoulish street performers were spotted roaming local shops, restaurants and leisure facilities on as they showed off some amazing tricks – with fire-breathing, stilt walking, magic tricks, illusions, and acrobatics.

There were treats for families too with the performers handing out hundreds of Halloween themed chocolate coins.

There was an excellent response to the Eagles Meadow Pumpkin Carving Competition too.

The contest gave people the chance to paint or carve their own pumpkin and have the chance to win a spooky Halloween hamper. Contestants created their entries before posting pictures onto the Eagles Meadow Facebook page.

It was won by Shanaya, who was presented with her prize by the six trick Or Treat Street characters and by Eagles Meadow Shopping Centre Manager Josh Price.

“We’d like to thank everyone who came to the centre for our special Trick or Treat Street event on Saturday,” said Josh.

“It was lots of fun. The characters were very entertaining. It was brilliant to see the expressions on families’ faces as they met our spooky street performers whether they were out shopping, eating, bowling, watching a movie or any of the many other things that people can enjoy here.

“We were very impressed by some of the superb Halloween costumes that children were wearing.

“We have enjoyed seeing all your pictures from the event across social media, thank you for posting them.

“We are now in the process of planning a truly memorable Christmas shopping season at Eagles Meadow, with lots of great reasons to come and visit!

“Please keep an eye out for more details through our big announcements coming very soon.”
