A drop in surgery to discuss programmed works within the Brymo Renewal Area is to take place tomorrow.

The surgery is to be held to for residents to discuss improvements to homes within the Brymbo Broughton Housing Renewal Area

Residents of properties within the above renewal area will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns regarding future schemes with a Housing Renewal Officer

Discussions will be held on a one to one basis appointments are not necessary but please be prepared to wait and the officer will endeavour to see you as soon as possible.

Roofs on properties at Clayton Road in Pentre Broughton are currently being improved and will continue into the ‘Green’ up to the Penygraig area of Brymbo over the coming months.

Brymbo Councillor Paul Rogers has welcomed the surgery and urged residents within the Brymbo renewal area to attend the drop in session of they have any questions.

“I am pleased Council officers are to hold another another drop in surgery to keep residents informed regarding the Brymbo Broughton Housing Renewal scheme.”

“Work to improve roofs on private properties within the renewal area is moving from Pentre Broughton into Brymbo and this will see many properties benefit from grant funded works. I would urge any residents who have questions to attend”

Funding from the Welsh Government for the Brymbo Broughton Renewal Area has been reducing for several years leading to reductions in the scale of works undertaken and is due to cease in September of this year.

Councillor Paul Rogers has said he is disappointed that some properties who were expected to benefit from the grant aided work will no longer do so and has said he is pursuing other regeneration initiatives with Council officers.

For those interested in popping down and having their say the surgery will take place on Tuesday 13th January 2015 between 13:30 and 16:30 at the Brymbo Enterprise Centre, Blast Road, Brymbo.
