Earlier this morning Doctor Who’s Tardis materialised in Queens Square.

The Tardis is travelling around Wales ahead of the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special, ‘The Day Of The Doctor’, which will air on BBC One on Saturday.

The Tardis has already stopped off in Holyhead and parked on double yellow lines in Llandudno, and will be landing in Aberystwyth tomorrow.

We were the first news outlet to reveal the whereabouts of the Tardis in Wrexham, when its location was announced on Twitter earlier this morning. The Tardis landed on Queens Square, just outside the Council Offices. However we are unsure if any councillors popped out to visit the blue box!

When we popped up to have our own photo taken with the Tardis, there was a crowd of people waiting to have their photo taken with the iconic blue box.

The Tardis dematerialised shortly after 5pm tonight, however we can’t be sure of the exact time, as time is essentially “like a big ball of wibbly wobbly… time-y wimey… stuff.”

The 50th anniversary episode, called The Day Of The Doctor and starring the current Doctor Matt Smith as well as the previous Doctor David Tennant, will be shown on BBC One Wales on November 23.

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who, on November 23rd the Odeon in Wrexham will be showing 3D screenings of the anniversary special.
