Community council begin search for “descendants of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice”

A local community council have begun a search to find descendants of fallen servicemen from Marchwiel.

Members of Marchwiel Community Council are looking to find relatives of the local men who volunteered to join up, fight and gave their lives during World War One or Two.

The council plans to honour the servicemen at their Memorial Service on November 11th 2018.

The clerk of Marchwiel Community Council’s said: “We are attempting to contact any of the descendants of those people who paid the ultimate sacrifice and ask that they contact [email protected] or ring the answerphone 01244 570673 and leave a message and contact details.”
