Coca Cola Lorry Leaves Flat Feeling For Motorists

This evening a promotional lorry situated at Broughton retail park caused traffic tailbacks to the north of Wrexham.

Two further traffic incidents added to the traffic, with one minor incident on the A483 and one more serious by Penyffordd.

One Wrexham.com’er was passing through Penyffordd to head to Broughton and encountered the incident soon after it had occurred. Emergency services, including two fire engines, several police cars and two ambulances were attending the scene, where it appeared a crash had involved four cars.

The traffic issues started to manifest themselves around 4pm, with traffic crawling northwards on the A483 bypass from Rossett onwards. Later on the traffic was stationary from the junction onwards, with tailbacks from the westbound A55 causing problems towards Wrexham.

At the time of writing, 8:45pm , the traffic issues still persist and are causing issues in and around the area.
