Elderly Man & Woman Involved in Chester Road Collision

Emergency services have this afternoon attended a one vehicle collision on Chester Road.

One car appears to have left the road heading southbound into Wrexham, ending up in a hedge around 10 meters off the highway.

Ambulance and police are attending.

PC Hough has tweeted us @Wrexham the below picture of the blue Corsa, saying, “One vehicle RTC, Chester Road (nr Gresford Roundabout) road partially blocked until ambulance finish. Please be patient.”

A spokesperson for Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called at shortly before 2.45pm to reports of a road traffic collision on Chester Road in Wrexham.

“A crew in an emergency ambulance is in attendance at the scene.

“An elderly man and woman have been taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.”

The road was cleared and the vehicle was removed by 3:30pm.
