A charity shop in Wrexham Town Centre has had a window smashed in the early hours of this morning.

One of the front windows of the Nightingale House Hospice shop on Brook Street was smashed, however it does not appear any theft took place.

We are told that the incident occurred overnight, believed around 3am this morning.

A local resident told us: “Damage at the best of times is bad, but to pick on this type of shop especially at Christmas is terrible.

“It is sad that money raised will have to be spent to repair this damage.”

This is the second time that the front window of the charity shop has been smashed in a number of months.
