CCTV camera ‘cut down’ in Caia

A CCTV camera has been felled in Caia park.

North Wales Police have told us: “Pole with a council funded mobile CCTV camera attached was cut down in Bryn Hafod , Caia Park”

“We are working on a number of lines of enquiry”.

The incident took place on Saturday evening at around 11:30pm.

Local Councillor Carrie Harper confirmed it was the community councils CCTV camera and pole.

The incident came to light after we spotted the below video on Snapchat, showing sparks flying from the pole and then a metallic thud as the pole falls to the floor.

The video has the caption of “No face no case.”
