Car Fire on Wrexham Industrial Estate

Rachael Lattanzi got in touch with us this morning to send us these pictures of a car on fire on Wrexham Industrial Estate.

The fire occurred on Ash Road North, outside Wockhardt UK’s site just after 9.47am.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was caused by a mechanical defect in the car’s engine and that 100% fire damage was caused to the vehicle.

Two appliances from Wrexham Fire Station were sent and a hose reel was used to put the blaze out.

Rachael told us the male driver appeared to get out of the car safely.
