Car Fire in Cefn Mawr

Firefighters have this afternoon tackled a vehicle fire in Wrexham.

Shortly before 4:20pm this afternoon North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to a car fire on King’s Lane, Cefn Mawr.

A spokesperson for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said one crew from Wrexham was called to the incident, with car described as being ‘well alight’.

The fire also reportedly spread to an adjacent garden fence.

Two hose reel jets and one breathing apparatus was used to extinguish the blaze.

The spokesperson confirmed the cause of fire was accidental.
