Officers experienced a “busy night” on patrol in Wrexham with several reports of rocks being thrown, a medical emergency and man wanted on warrant.

Local officers were also called to a break-in at two cabins at St Christophers School on Stockwell Grove, with PC Thomas Hough stating that CCTV & CSI enquiries are now underway.

Anyone with any further information is advised to contact North Wales Police on 101 quoting W076163.

Earlier that evening whilst making enquiries in the Archers Way officers also had “rocks and bricks” thrown at police vehicles.

This morning Wrexham.com also reported that officers had attended a vehicle fire in the Bala Road area of Caia Park – with the incident later confirmed as arson.

The vehicle had been seen being driven antisocially around the area, with the car later abandoned a field near Bala Road before being set alight. Four people were seen running away from the area.

Anyone with any further information about the incident is advised to contact North Wales Police on 101.

PC Thomas Hough said: Somehow in between we still managed to find a wanted man on warrant, CPS advice for a female in custody and complete pro-active patrols in other areas.

“Also foot patrol was completed for early morning patrols in the @wrexham town centre, busy night all round.”
