BT’s roll out of fibre broadband services in the Wrexham area has been put back several months due to engineering works.

Originally the date that BT Infinity was listed as available at the Wrexham North exchange on the company’s website was June, although this has now changed to September.

Similarly the roll out for the Wrexham exchange was pencilled in for September, but has now been put back to December.

The change was spotted by several eagle-eyed @wrexham followers including Chris Eccleston (@Chris_Ecc) who tweeted us yesterday after noticing the change.

A BT spokesperson said: “The original dates provided are indicative and subject to change. Some exchanges are brought forward and other can be delayed because of the engineering work required as it the case with Wrexham and Wrexham north exchanges.”
