Broken Down Lorry on A55 Causes Delays For Motorists

A broken down lorry on the A55 Eastbound has resulted in long delays for motorists this evening.

A number of people have been in touch this evening regarding heavy traffic and long delays travelling from Chester and for those using the Posthouse Roundabout.

The lorry broke down down A55 Eastbound between J38 A483 Wrexham Road (Posthouse roundabout) and J39 A41 (Sainsbury’s / Boughton Heath Roundabout, with delays affected motorists travelling from Ellesmere Port to the Posthouse Roundabout.

The lorry has since been removed – however there is still heavy traffic in the area.
