Body of a woman found near Pontcysyllte

Police were called at 8.35am today to a report that the body of a woman had been found at the aqueduct in Pontcysyllte, Llangollen.

Officers are trying to establish the circumstances surrounding the death, which is not believed to be suspicious.

A large number of emergency service vehicles have been nearby through the morning, with the aqueduct closed off.
