There is a large emergency service presence in the Pandy area of Wrexham this lunchtime after a body was found nearby.

Police have sadly confirmed via a statement that reads: “Police were alerted at 10.48am today to a report that a man’s body had been found hanging in woods at Pandy.

“Enquires are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the death.”

Several police cars, an ambulance and a first response vehicle are in the lay-by across the way from the Gresford Colliery Club at the bottom of Bluebell Lane, as pictured below.

It is thought they were called to the scene after a dog walker alerted police this morning.
