Body Found On Moel Famau

The body of a man has been found in woods on Moel Famau, Flintshire . Police were alerted to the scene at 3.12pm today.

The death is not being treated as suspicious. The body has yet to be formally identified and the North East Wales coroner has been informed.

North East Wales Search & Rescue have been searching the area for a Flintshire man who has been missing since Tuesday.

19 of their volunteer team members and two Search and Rescue Dog Association, dog handlers, with a trailing dog, were tasked to search areas around Moel Famau.

Saturday’s search concluded at night fall and resumed Sunday morning. 15 NEWSAR members were assisted by 11 Cheshire Search and Rescue team members and two SARDA air scenting dogs and their respective handlers.

Update Wednesday Afternoon: Sadly North Wales Police have confirmed that the body found is Andrew James Pae, from Buckley, who went missing last week.
