Berse Road Reopens After Cyclist Knocked Off Bike

Berse Road was closed off around 4:30pm this afternoon after a cyclist was knocked from their bike.

The incident occurred near to the B&Q entrance, with a red one series BMW involved.

One ambulance response vehicle attended, with police closing the road to traffic while the injured person was treated on the ground. There is no update to their condition.

We have been told the man was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure but is believed to be ok, and a number of people nearby came to his aid, one of which was a passing Doctor.

The road has since reopened.
