The Bank Holiday is upon us and for many it means one thing – a three day weekend. So what’s the weather forecast looking like for the next three days.

Earlier this week it was reported that the UK was experiencing ‘unseasonal’ chilly weather, with some parts of the country experiencing a month’s rainfall in the first 13 days of August.

Sadly in traditional Bank Holiday fashion, the MET Office is predicting a rainy and rather cool weekend. However unlike previous weekends there are currently no weather warnings in place for Wrexham.

Tomorrow’s forecast is a bit of everything, with rain, showers and chilly weather all predicted. Scattered showers are predicted throughout the day however the sun should make an appearance a couple of times! Continuing on with the unseasonally cooler weather, temperatures can be expected to hit highs of 15 degrees.

Sunday is set to remain dry and cloudy, with temperatures expected to hit highs of 16 degrees. We might even be lucky enough to catch a glimmer of sunshine at some point during the day as well.

Monday looks set to the be the worst day of the Bank Holiday weekend, with heavy rain expected throughout the morning. This should ease off slightly during the day before getting heavier again in the evening. Temperatures should hit highs of 15 degrees throughout the course of the day.

Of course weather forecasts can sometimes be incorrect, so fingers crossed for a last minute heat wave and the return of summer! However at the moment it’s looking more like wellies and brolly rather than BBQ and sun cream weather.
