A double decker bus will now operate at peak times on one of Wrexham’s busiest routes following complaints about “capacity issues”.

Arriva Buses Wales made the announcement regarding the 41A to the Wrexham Industrial Estate this afternoon.

The move comes as a result of criticism from users about capacity issues on the route during at peak times during the day – resulting in the single decker being too full to pick up more customers.

Earlier this week Liam Crosbie tagged us in a tweet to say: “Well we’re back to small buses on the 41 route almost a dozen people late this morning. And a further dozen who won’t get home for over an hour later tonight.

“We know it’s planned drivers tell us. We need a double decker.”

In a bid to ease congestion Arriva have announced that a double decker will now serve the Wrexham to Wrexham Industrial Estate….

UPDATED! Arriva have deleted and republished the times after it was pointed out by @JamesB on twitter they could well be wrong.
