UPDATE 10pm Friday 6th: Further to the armed police over last 24hrs – police have just said tonight they have arrested 9 people in total and are ‘not seeking anyone else’ more on that here.

Original information below…

Update: The road has since reopened and police appear to have left the area. We hope to get an update from North Wales Police shortly.

Original information below…

Police are attending an address on King’s Close in Hightown this morning, with armed officers assisting.

Phil told us he saw ‘a load of marked BMW X5s and unmarked cars’ with further police vehicles heading towards the area, with police arriving around 8:30am in what appears to be a pre-planned operation.

As of 9:45am police are still at the address with King’s Close closed to traffic and access, with Morgan telling us: “About 3 or 4 armed police blocking the road off.”

More shortly.
