Brand new properties, situated near Wrexham Town Centre, are now open for housing applications with Wrexham Council.

Work began on two apartment blocks with 50 one and two-bedroom apartments on Rivulet Road – a joint venture between Wrexham Council and the Clwyd Alyn Housing Association – in 2017.

Construction work is expected to finish later in the summer, and applications are now open.

Wrexham Council say the homes will be available at social-level rents, and they’ll also help keep energy bills low thanks to size and energy efficiency.

And the whole scheme is built to Lifetime Homes standard, which means they are suitable for anyone who has to occasionally make use of a wheelchair or walking frame.

Cllr David Griffiths, Lead Member for Housing, said: “These new properties on Rivulet Road make a fantastic addition to our stock of available housing in Wrexham, and given their newness plus their very convenient town centre location, I’m sure they’ll be in very high demand.

“I’d also like to thank Clwyd Alyn for the work they’ve put in to this development – the standard of the new properties stands to their credit.”

Anyone who wishes to apply for housing can contact 01978 298993.
