Tyrone, pictured above, was killed last night on Llangollen Road between 6-7pm after being hit by a vehicle.

Darren William’s says his dog, Tyrone, was hit by what is thought to be a ‘small black car’ yesterday evening on the Llangollen Road.

We’re told Tyronne was taken to a vets however did not survive.

The driver of the vehicle did not stop, and Darren says ‘a reward will be given to whoever turns them in’.

He added: “My dog was hit and killed last night and the driver didn’t stop and was speeding. It is 40mph on that road so slamming on doing 40mph wouldn’t be such a big impact and if you seen a dog the size of Tyrone you’d slow down. Clearly they were speeding, and didn’t even stop!”

The incident has been reported to the police, and anyone with any information can contact them via the 101 number citing reference V104695.
