Aldi will open its brand new store in Ruabon early in September.

The 1,254 sqm store will be the third Aldi in Wrexham and will be run by store manager Robert Birch.

Officially opening its doors to the public at 8am on Thursday 5th September, the first 30 customers will receive a complimentary bag of fresh fruit and vegetables from Aldi’s fantastic Super 6 range.

Aldi says the new store represents it investment in local communities across the UK – and will bring a number of job opportunities to the area and offer more customers access to Aldi’s products.

The store will offer large chillers and freezers dedicated to fresh, British meat products, a ‘Food to Go’ section at the front of the store, a new fixture along the back wall showcasing award-winning beers, wines and spirits – along with an exclusive section full of award-winning Health & Beauty products.

To celebrate the store opening, Robert Birch and his team will be joined by two-time Olympic gold medalist Philip Hindes, to cut the all-important ribbon on opening morning.

Store Manager Robert Birch, said: “We can’t wait to finally open the doors to the new store in Ruabon. It’s set to be a special day as we’ll be celebrating the opening of Aldi’s third store in Wrexham and having Olympic cyclist Philip Hindes join us will make it a morning to remember.”

Team GB cycling sensation Philip Hindes, added: “I’m so excited to be opening Aldi’s new store, it will be great to chat to customers and a lovely way for me to thank Aldi for its endless support of Team GB.”

The new store will be located on Watkin Way, Ruabon at 8am on Thursday 5th September.
