An air ambulance and two other medical vehicles have attended an incident in Wrexham earlier this morning.

Shortly before 12:30pm this afternoon Wrexham.com were contacted by readers stating that the air ambulance had landed on a field near Daniel’s Drive, Ruabon.

We’ve also been told that the road has been closed off by North Wales Police.

A spokeswoman for Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 11.51am to a medical emergency at an address on Daniel’s Drive in the Ruabon area of Wrexham.

“We sent a paramedic in a rapid response car and a crew in an emergency ambulance to the scene, which were supported by a Wales Air Ambulance.”
