A traffic light outage at the top of the A483 on the ‘Posthouse’ roundabout is caused traffic issues this rush hour.

Update: We are told the issue has been resolved, and traffic returned to normal.

Following a poor day on the roads due to bad weather further issues are now arising with the traffic lights on the busy Posthouse roundabout causing traffic problems.

We have had three reports from motorists, including Kat sending us the picture above. One person tells us all the lights are out, with another saying the northern set of lights is out.

Traffic is slow off the north end of the A483, with queues the other way southbound out of Chester growing.

Cheshire authorities have confirmed they are aware of the issue and Highways have been notified.

UPDATE: It appears there is now a broken down car adding to the traffic problems…

Sharon has also told us: “Lights were out on the slip road coming off the A55 to the roundabout. People still driving likes loons around it.”
