A5 By Chirk Reopens After ‘Police Incident’ – Two Air Ambulances In Area

The A5 is closed both ways due ‘to a police incident’.

The is A5 both ways closed, resulting in heavy traffic due to police incident between B5605 and B5434 Gate Road.

The air ambulance arrived in the area by Pontcysyllte at 11:10am, and just after midday the air ambulance left. At a similar time a second air ambulance attended, leaving the area at 12:40pm.

Several police vehicles and a fire engine from Llangollen have also attended the incident.
