One person has been taken to hospital following a single vehicle collision on the A483 earlier this afternoon.

Emergency services are currently in attendance after a van left the road on the A483 southbound shortly after 1pm this afternoon.

The incident has occurred just before the Rossett junction and initially it was reported that three vehicles were involved. North Wales Police have since confirmed that is it believed that one vehicle was involved in the collision.

Traffic is currently backed up from the Wales / England border towards the Posthouse Roundabout. It is also believed that traffic in the area is down to one lane while recovery work takes place.
