28-Year-Old Man Killed in Collision Near Mold Named

The man who was killed in one vehicle collision outside Mold yesterday, has been named.

28-year-old Jonathan Philip Yeardley, from the Nannerch area, died at the scene of the crash on the A541 yesterday.

One man who airlifted to Stoke, remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

A man who was taken to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital with minor injuries has since been discharged.

The fatal collision, which involved a black coloured Volkswagen Golf, took place at around 2:30pm yesterday afternoon on the A541 Mold to Denbigh Road.

Police continue to appeal for witnesses and are urging anybody with information to contact officers at the Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting reference number U062339.
