195 Million People See Wrexham On Eurovision
Wrexham was featured to an audience of around 195 million people tonight as the football ground was used in an intro to the UK’s entry.
Joe and Jake were performing “You’re Not Alone” with Joe Woolford, aged 21, being from Ruthin and an apparent Wrexham fan.
The Wrexham Glyndwr University Stadium was featured where they had a short kick about on the pitch, before heading up the hills for some pyro-action.
Eurovision claims an audience of around 195,000,000 across 41 markets, with 65,000,000 watching at any given point.
As you would expect people did notice they were wearing Liverpool kits…
@wrexham Well for a start we should be charging a premium on those advertising hoardings and guided tours. #99yearlease #cashin :)
