AVOW Has £46k ‘Available’ – But Closing Date Soon

The Association of Voluntary Organisations in Wrexham (AVOW) has £46,000 available for voluntary and community groups based in Wrexham County Borough for various projects.

The fund will be distributed through a grant scheme and has been made available through the Welsh Government’s Community Facilities and Activities Programme.

Grants are available up to £4,000, for capital projects, such as: creating new facilities, refurbishment of existing facilities, equipment for community groups or social enterprises, improvements to the environment (natural or man-made) and provision of disabled access or toilets.

The closing date for submission of applications is coming up soon – Friday 14th September 2012.
