Wrexham Video from 1991 – Town Centre and High Town

A video taken in 1991 from a car has been uploaded to Youtube yesterday and has already been a hit on social networking sites. The video was uploaded by Youtube user ‘pookits’ who added the caption “I filmed this with one of those huge cameras that were popular at the time so please excuse some of the footage. I would like to send a big thank you to Keith Williams for converting the video on to dvd for free, without him you wouldn’t be able to see this.”

It was taken on market day, with views of the old Beast Market from the ‘ASDA flyover’.

We like the trip through Brook St, with no link road at the end, plus the railway bridges still in place!
