Wrexham County Borough Museum & Archives is the main museum which serves the Wrexham area.

It has regular displays and collections and recently featured the Wrexham hoard, a collection of silver pennies from the reigns of Richard the Lionheart.

Based on Regent Street it can be easily accessed from Wrexham Bus Station and Wrexham Central Train Station.

It has a shop selling local history related goods and a café which serves hot and cold food.

The opening times for the museum are:

Monday – Friday: 10am – 5pm
Saturday: 10.30am – 3pm
