Where would you like them to wait, Chester ? ;)
No, just simply turn right by Dog’n’Bone where there are bound to be at least a dozen spaces free.
Travis BickleParticipantPeople who ‘park in wait’ for a space at the top end of Island Green.
Travis BickleParticipantOk, the idiots who queue in One Lane to get onto Chester Road off Gresford Roundabout…often blocking the link rd, it’s so SO easy to safely and legally use the second lane.

At the various merge in turn points around town, the drivers who point blank refuse to allow other drivers in by taking off at break neck speed and attaching themselves to the bumper of the car in front of them.
Such as Mold Rd into Regent St ( by the sorting office )
Travis BickleParticipantPeople who park against the flow of traffic, not least on…
Dean Rd by the shop.
Parking bay’s on Chester Street.
Crescent Rd by the Chippy.
Brook Street ( causing bedlam when they try to drive off )
Outside more or less ALL schools.
Travis BickleParticipantWhen people park their car at “least” a foot away from the kerb. WHY endanger your own car from a possible scrape or wing-mirror detachment…that likely will have no willing witness?

Lighthearted is a distant, youthful memory to some here.
Just like…”Indicating”:D
Travis BickleParticipant“Bent all out of Shape” lol I’ve not heard that one since I watched the WWF in the early 90’s. In any case this thread was intended to be a lighthearted look at what sends our inner driving demons demented. Plus draw attention to problematic areas of the local road system.

Reminds me – people who are outraged when they are overtaken in a legal and safe manner.
Other mentions:
– Green Dragon right hand turn lemmings.
– People parking in the bus stop to nip into the Garden Village shops.
– Lack of indication the Tesco roundabout. Its like the Bermuda Triangle for orange lights.
– Same for the ASDA one.
– General roundabout use.
– General lack of indicator use.:D
One of the worst “non-indicator” black-spots is the mini roundabout opposite Teco’s Garage. Cars coming out of Wicks are given the impression that 80% of the approaching traffic is coming straight on – when in fact it’s turning into Tesco.
On the subject of Tesco – the occasional driver whom ( usually on a very busy day ) appears to be leaving the carpark but when he/she gets to the main problem junction…decides to indicate Right even though the sheer weight of traffic means they will hold everyone up a few minutes – THIS issue would have been avoided if the driver in question had turned initially by the cashpoints.
– Trucks turning into Tesco via the customer entrance, happens so often and always causes an issue.

All those perfect drivers who have never had an accident but have seen plenty in their rearview mirror. ;)
I was stuck behind one such earlier today ‘puttering” through Pentre Bychan doing 30 tops. A more hot tempered person would have got frustrated and overtook.
