The welfare system includes the NHS and social care, that’s why it’s called a ‘cradle to grave’ system.

The privatisation programme is a nasty joke at your expense. You pay a lot and get rubbish.

Another example of this is how the Tories pay Atos and Maximus a fortune to keep checking that people with permanent and degenerative disabilities and illnesses are still disabled and ill at regular intervals. A complete waste of money, but a nice little earner for the private companies.

Comments like ‘[o]ld age does not, and should not, make you be forced to follow a Corbyn/Stlalin/Kim Young Un/Maoist socialist agenda’ are pantomime gold and nothing more than an ‘appeal to ridicule,’ look it up.

I totally agree with the OP, the sooner these things are renationalised with improved in-built protections, the better. Private companies should not be allowed to exploit and abuse vulnerable people for profit.

That might have been mildly convincing if you just entirely ignore the 2017 General Election result.

Is it because we’re all supposed to nod along with what Prime Minister Murdoch wants?

Unless a new extension is agreed with the EU, we’ll be leaving by automatic operation of law on 31st October, regardless of whether we get a deal or not. So the Tories can’t just keep delaying.

How does Jeremy Corbyn’s record re expenses compare to these?

The reason I ask is because some of these MPs look down their noses at Corbyn and his supporters, when perhaps they should be paying closer attention to their own back yard.

That’s the BBC, are there any reputable sources?

Yes, it seems to have gone from ‘there’s no downsides to brexit, only upsides’ to ‘well, we got through the second world war, didn’t we?’

What are the advantages of this twirling kamikaze flight again?

I’d vote for the donkey too. He wouldn’t do nearly as much damage as a Tory.
