What was the catalyst for this action?

My worry is Councillor Kings claim on TV that he has been approached by 4 separate social workers from the same team. If what he claims is true and I’ve no reason to doubt him, it should be of the greatest concern.

This is the type of problem that needs a concerted effort by the police, council, social services etc to sort out.

Just looking at the 3G Network site. They plan to rollout 4g into Wrexham by the end of the year. One advantage…..They offer “All you can eat” data packages.

Just out of interest on a cursory search of the CWGC database. 319 Wrexham men lost their lives serving with the RWF in the Great War….Search on just Wrexham 701 men. I’m sure that figure will raise further once you start looking at surrounding villages. Yet I can’t see any mention of commemorations at official level on the council website, neither is there anything on the Wrexham Museum forecast?

Great post and so very true. I can’t bothered to visit the town now….its just to much hassle. The Car Park which is so convenient, is perversely strangling the trade.

The comments about the youngsters…spot on.

WCBC really need to listen, as do the multi-nationals

Get the GP issues sorted, that is one big part of the problem. I’ve recently moved as a patient from a struggling, understaffed, overburdened surgery with huge footprint, serving far to many people. To a smaller better utilised village GP. What a difference.

I did have a look on the Council Website and couldn’t see any mention of Great War commemorations. Again I hope this is not an opportunity missed. There is notable public interest in this period of our recent history and Wrexham was home to a regiment that had over 40 battalions serving in the conflict. ………and now the council has the regiments archive!
