justjojo2011ParticipantWhen I lived in Warrington, I had the exact same problem with Asda chicken. Well, it wasn’t warm but it was completely in date and when I went to use it that same night, it smelled disgusting when it was opened. This happened twice from the same Asda in Warrington. It took a LONG time before I bought chicken again. I have never had this problem with chicken from Morrisons but I’m still super wary of it
justjojo2011ParticipantErm, where’s my post?
justjojo2011ParticipantDidn’t even see it until now so won’t get to put mine across, but I do wonder if Ian Lucas is so high because he’s the only one we’ve had anything for? I know I have had 3 completely different flyers through my door so far, 1 of which was addressed to me personally and put through the door, one was also addressed to me and sent through the post.
justjojo2011ParticipantMore and more numbers are being registered as ex directory which means they can’t be published in the phone book. As for the yellow pages, I can only assume that less and less businesses exist in Wrexham or they are not willing to pay the fees for yellow pages advertising, especially when they can advertise elsewhere for free
justjojo2011ParticipantI don’t support Wrexham FC, never have but am with you on this. Best wishes to them tomorrow. Hope they do really well
justjojo2011ParticipantMy auntie and my uncle were in a band back in the 60s. Lynette and the Footprints. They did the club circuit for a while, and my understanding is they never made money off it. They did it because they loved it. My auntie loved to sing and still does love to sing.

It’s sad that these days the Club circuit has gone. When I was young(er) I sang in a Club Circuit band and we were booked up Saturday and Sunday 52 weeks a year. We had a great grounding and were always in demand. I was chatting to a guy the other day and he was chuffed that they had a gig coming up in April, how times have changed.
justjojo2011ParticipantMy parents house has always had an issue with mice, because of 2 residents close by with pidgeons. Each year, they have phoned the pest control who have come out and laid traps. The last time my mum phoned them (about 3 years ago now), the guy informed her that they were charging all residents for pest control.
If you own your own home, you would have been paying for this service anyway. SOmeone whinged about what their council tax was paying for, yet you don’t get pest control in your home for free.. your home is your problem.
What home owners seem to forget is that the council are the landlord of council tenants. It is their responsibility to ensure the properties are up to a certain standard. Now I don’t know whether this includes pests, but as stated, council tenants paid so what’s the big fuss? lol
justjojo2011ParticipantI thought they only laid those tricks on women? lol
justjojo2011ParticipantMy understanding is that indicators are there for show and not to be actually used, whether you’re a taxi or not. Also cutting up other vehicles must be in a standard driving test too.

I think part of the exam also says do not use your indicators when you turn in to Charles Street, if you drive for Apollo taxis.
justjojo2011ParticipantSure they work. They capture what they are supposed to capture. Trouble is, the quality is so bad, no one knows who they’re capturing in the first place
