It has reached Llay so keep checking and if you see new green boxes springing up it’s in your area. It is quicker. We have speeds of 30 at the moment.

Have visited the site and read the candidates bios but am still unsure who to vote for. An interesting election as all the candidates are unknown to me. I will vote but will need a little thought before making a decision.

We stick to 40 until we reach the 30mph zone. Its too much hassle to speed up and then slam the brakes on. It is not very driver friendly since the changes but it’s a perfect place to collect revenue from speeding drivers.

I spotted the same footprints around the museum itself so i think you are right about their meaning. I didn’t stop to read them though.

The figures seem to be down on last year which is good but there seem to be couple of hotspots which i plan on avoiding if i can.

Llay area were ‘flushed’ a couple of weeks ago. Letters were sent out informing householders of the work and it was done by the time i came home from work, at least i think it was! I have never heard of flushing before but perhaps Freedom of Information means they now have to inform householders when, in the past, they did not.

Thanks for the link Liam. I was curious about how it was done. Will go and investigate High Street when i am next in the town centre. I think its a very novel way of advertising.

Has anyone noticed the small drawings or etchings in the paving slabs in Queens Square? I nearly walked into someone as I was looking down and not where i was going. They bear the logo of the Wrexham Science Fair. I particularly liked the Darleks.

I also resent paying to park in Eagles Meadows so have taken to using the small car park along the side of the church (spaces permitting) and walking up the road and over the bridge. Its cheaper and I have some exercise thrown in!

It could become a new past time for those with time on their hands. Pass the unsuitable container! Would rather play pass the parcel but have to move with the times :)
