Wrexham definitely needs more in the way of serving the arts. There are a lot of talented artists, photographers etc who need a place to show off their work and network with others. I think encouraging the artistic people in Wrexham can only be a good thing and a central hub would inspire many others to become more involved in the arts.

I wish the university here would do a full time BA Hons in photography – Yes they have digital lens media etc but it’s not really a dedicated photography course.

More arts and culture for Wrexham? Absolutely Yes!

We’ve used Charlie’s quite often but in the summer we were put off because when we arrived home our car was absolutely splattered with the wheel shine stuff they put on the tyres. The sides of the car was coated in the stuff and we ended up having to wash it ourselves in the end. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and went there again a few weeks ago, and the same thing happened again! They must be putting too much on.

I don’t think anonymity is the issue, Dylan. I think with most shopping these days , it is cheaper and there is more selection online. My husband went to buy a new Apple Iphone 6 the other day from the o2 shop in Eagles Meadow and was quoted £799. It is on sale at the Apple store online for £699!!
My nephew’s buy their Playstation and Nintendo games from Amazon because high street shops charge between £5-10 more per game!

Yeah, they told most of their customers in July this year that they would be closing towards November. Apparently quite a few of their stores are closing nationwide as they are going to concentrate on Internet sales.

Why do people automatically assume that all blue badge holders must have something wrong with their legs? The cards are awarded for a variety of conditions, not all visible! Heart conditions, breathing difficulties, learning disability, cancer, the list goes on!

And as for their illnesses being ” visible”, not even the best doctor or medical expert in the world can view illnesses just by looking at someone, maybe that is why we have CT scans, x rays and other diagnostic equipment!

What really annoys me is the amount of non-disabled motorists who think it is okay to park in a disabled space, and especially at night! Don’t they think disabled people venture out during the hours of darkness?

Btw, I am not disabled myself but have worked as a carer in the past for people who had blue badges for various conditions.
