I appreciate that nostalgia is not what it used to be but the history is being ripped out of this town and its losing its mojo fast!

How much more money are they going to throw at King street? Why do they have to plonk new developments everywhere?

This van is another stupid idea by the government. Nobody will pay the slightest bit of notice to it. Do they honestly think that illegal immigrants will be quaking in their boots at the thought of being arrested? This will not persuade anybody to ring up and hand themselves in. This is more evidence that politicians are out of touch with the real world.

Why on Earth didnt ASDA hold the event outside? Lots of disappointed kids did not get to see him and once again the overstretched police force had to step in and do somebody elses job for them.

Wrexham seems determined to destroy its history and the loss of the Yale name is just the latest in a long line of daft ideas and destruction of our heritage.

No, but i think that the real issue is this. Why do they keep moving everything? Everytime i go there, something has moved. How frustrating.

You are quite right zinger. Our town centre has been ruined while chester city centre retains its history and appears to be thriving.

Good point. You often hear of these open prisons. Will we be mixing with serving convicts in the town centre? Having said that, many criminals contribute little towards society, but at least a prison would assist the economy locally.

The council have allowed the face of an historic market town to be changed forever and i will never forgive them for that. I walked down regent st and hope st the other day and as i looked around at the few other people there and wondered what they were doing there. In my humble opinion, the town centre has had its heart ripped out! It hasnt been the same since they knocked down the town hall on high street!
