They’d probably have a case for harassment under the ‘Uman Rights Act.

I hope this is a valid question. When I get car insurance I have to give a permanent address where I live and the postcode is taken into account when charging the premium.

How do travellers get cover for their new Pick ups and 4 x 4s when they have no fixed abode? Is their cover hugely expensive?

A great number of “Travellers” have legitimate cover using either Motor Trader’s or Showmen’s Policies. Each of which needs only 1 address for the policy and covers any vehicle.

As an example, it’s possible to cover any number of motor vehicles, trailers and caravans and their contents under a single policy for less than £3,000 a year.

You’ll also notice that the Police rarely confiscate vehicles from “Travellers”, unless they can prove that they’ve been stolen. That’s because most of them are very careful to ensure that the Road Fund Licences for their vehicles are current.

Those security men must be displaying SIA Security Guard licences to operate on the site. If they are, they will have passed a course that’s only delivered in English and to have attended they will also have been CRB checked.

Getting councils to supply and install bins isn’t too difficult. Getting them to empty them regularly is the problem. Have you seen how they ignore the emptying of the many bins installed in lay-bys around the country ?

I’ve been in the transport business all my life. Granted, companies rarely put their prices down when fuel costs go down but they also don’t always put them up when prices rise.

Like many services, cheapest is very rarely best. Take recommendations from previous customers of the transfer or taxi companies and stick with whichever gives you the service that you’re happy with at a price that you can afford.

Or it could take away business from those two branches and they’ll be back to square-one.

Why do suddenly want to bring this matter up here ? I get the feeling that you’re trolling?
